What
does it mean, customized ceremony?
-
This means that each and every ceremony we do is
customized to fit our couple. After meeting with you, Dr.
Vickery sits down and puts together a draft which is based on
your meeting. This is mailed or emailed to you for your
consideration. At this time, you are strongly encouraged
to make any changes, additions or deletions. Then your
corrections are sent back to Dr. Vickery and the whole process
starts again. <Top>

Can I get the license
from you?
-
At this time, we do not offer this
service. Our suggestion is to go online to your County Registrar and
find a location close to you. Excepting confidential licenses,
marriage licenses are good throughout the whole state. <Top>

Do you
come to the rehearsal?
-
We strive to attend every rehearsal, but if another
commitment conflicts, we will not attend. If having the
officiant at the rehearsal is a top priority, you can book that time
by paying an additional fee. <Top>

wedding. In these instances, they pick a theme.
We've performed wedding ceremonies in everything from Mediaeval
robes to shorts & hiking boots. If your wedding has a
particular theme, talk to us, we can probably work with you to

What's
a Handfasting?
-
Handfasting is an ancient Celtic tradition that
has gained greatly in popularity recently. The couple
joins hands, right to right and left to left and their hands are
bound together. They then make some vows, either in
addition to their wedding vows, or they make their wedding vows
while joined in this manner. A Handfasting can also be
performed as an engagement ceremony. <Top>

What about
confidential licenses?
|
 |
How do I get the copy
I need to change my name?
-
That copy is the certified copy. At
the wedding, the officiant takes over the responsibility for registering the
license. They get the signature(s) of your witness(es), fill in and
sign the license and send it in to the County Registrar. At that time,
we recommend sending in the request for your certified copy as this cuts
down significantly on the "turn-around" time. <Top>

 |
Does the
certified copy of my license cost anything?
-
There is a fee for your
certifies copy. Check with your County, but it is
averaging about $13. per copy. Since we believe so
strongly in requesting the certified copy at the time of the
filing, we collect the fee, either included in our payment or as
a separate check made out to the Registrar. <Top>
